Iora is a novel health care system attempting to transform the delivery of care to elders and to provide markedly improved services and reduced costs.  One of our former faculty, Carroll Haymon, is the director of the Iora clinic in the Central District of Seattle.  It's an "immersion" experience with 2-4 weeks full time in one of the Iora practices. The goal is a more complete understanding of the innovative care model and team-based primary care.  Please see the attachment at the bottom of this page for detailed information about Iora and the elective.

Email Cara Foley to arrange for the Iora elective at least three months in advance.  You will need to submit a CV and cover letter with a note about your interest in learning at this novel practice.
